Conditioning of waste sludge from biological wastewater treatment plant from gikil

Sludge generated in wastewater treatment processes must be treated an adequate manner, and therefore disposed of environmentally friendly manner. The biggest obstacle to the efficient use sludge is high water content, development methods accelerate dewatering process particularly important. For purposes research, waste created purifying ammoniaphenol GIKIL factory was used. conditioning performed by adding a commercial flocculant (0.1 % solution) combination with pyrophyllite, kaolin clay shredded cardboard. According earlier volume addition suitable could reduced more than 5 times compared initial amount, leaving behind large amount separated that can returned process. results show 0.8 gives best (reduction 78.8 %). A lower percentage found samples mixture flocculants pyrophyllite (78 %) (77.6 %), while cardboard ineffective (64.4 Addition resulted decrease specific filtration resistance (1.15x107 s2/g). also observed flocculant/kaolin (0.8x107 s2/g) flocculant/cardboard (1.09x107 samples. reduction suspended solids neonate settled raw without additives.
